Statement Released by the Hang Sheng Group after Internal Review
In addition to expressing our harsh condemnation of the false news reports, which are inconsistent with facts, highly erroneous, or misleading to the general public, the Group believes that since these false news reports have not yet affected the operations of the Group, our strategic partners, our various departments and subsidiaries, we shall therefore retain our right to prosecute. The Group hereby releases the results of its internal review: 1. Under the leadership of our CEO, Chen Huai-En, the Hang Sheng Group has always adhered to the principle of compassion, virtue and filial piety in its corporate culture and practice when designing and implementing its various projects. 2. In addition to the normal profits obtained by the Group, it is also active and committed in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, such as making timely donations of memorial tablets to the low-income families of deceased persons and providing financial assistance in increasing the policemen, firefighters, special police, rescue brigade and other workers in the frontline and those engaged in highly dangerous jobs (such as window cleaners) insurance coverage to provide protection for their families. 3. Any issuance of business cards with the Group’s name printed on them shall strictly adhere to the confidentiality agreement provided by the Group’s management department. Employees shall not use the business cards to swindle and deceive in order not to harm the Group’s reputation. The Group shall have the right to legal prosecution in the event of any violation thereof. 4. In the event an employee of the Group gives out his/her business card with the Group’s name on it, he/she is kindly reminded that all matters arising therefrom must be reported to the Group for assistance and management. 5. The Group has an investment review committee which accepts proposals for review; however, a careful choice is expected before submission for review. 6. I hope that all employees can be compassionate and act lovingly in everything that they do. Refrain from speaking ill of others and use positive energy in dealing with others. 7. We sincerely hope that the Group’s business will continue to flourish and shall enjoy greater prosperity in 2019. We also wish that all our employees and their families remain safe, healthy, happy and blessed in the coming year.
