1991年,美國「責任醫藥內科醫生委員會」(PCRM)超過三千名醫師共同建議,最適合健康飲食的新四類食物「新四類食物」為「全穀物、豆類、蔬菜、水果」。美國自1991年起,開始全力推廣 "5 a Day" 的飲食防癌運動以後,癌症的發生率及死亡率逐年下降。但美國推廣運動非以立法行政機制運行,因而2007年升高癌症31與心臟病33百分比比例,旋即2012年呈現癌症30與心臟病34百分比波動趨勢。
四、全世界推動人類「少肉至非肉」以自然農業為主的飲食,是21世紀地球氣候危機唯一對策。
